Machine Movement
With our many years of experience in the industry, we can think efficiently and outside the box, enabling us to always find a safe, time-effective and cost-effective solution to your machinery movement. The machine movement equipment that we use consists of conventional machinery movement equipment, such as skates, jacks, roller-bars, and pallet trucks right through to the latest state of the art air flotation systems. All equipment that we use comes fully maintained, tested and certified. Our expert team carry out all types of industrial machine moves, moving anything from a single machine to an entire factory. We can provide a full service where we deliver and install your machine, decommission, and remove any equipment needed, as well as provide logistical support to transport your machines anywhere in the UK and across the world. We can and will provide you with this service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Lifting and Rigging
We operate across the UK and Europe, providing a range of lifting and rigging solutions in the lift and shift industry. If these operations are not planned and executed correctly, things may go wrong. JHEL personnel are fully trained and certified operatives, who work safely and efficiently to deliver expert rigging solutions. We are conversant with the correct hand and radio signals used in the lifting and rigging process and we are aware of the correct use of rigging equipment (e.g. chain blocks, Tirfors, slings, shackle, beam clamps etc.). We approach every job professionally and work closely with each customer to meet their needs.
Storage
Based in the heart of Glasgow, we offer short-term and long-term storage solutions in secure warehouse facilities. We have 72,000 square feet of internal storage space, which is spread across two premises, with both premises being monitored 24 hours a day with full CCTV coverage.
Packing
At our headquarters, we have an in-house packing department with a global partner.
Using timber, which is ISPM 15 accredited, our timber cases are of the highest quality and structural integrity, to ensure that your machinery and equipment will reach its destination in perfect condition. We can also provide floating bases to protect your sensitive equipment during transit.
No matter the size, shape or weight of your goods, we can design and manufacture bespoke packing crates to ensure your goods can be transported securely and safely, in packaging that meets your exact needed specifications.
Freight
Our global partner provides a complete suite of freight services, including: air, sea and land. From pick-up at origins, multiple consolidation and customs clearance all the way through to delivery to end customers, your freight contents will be taken care of.
The trusting relationship with our freight partner allows us to provide you with regular and reliable updates on the progress of your machinery and equipment.
We ensure your machiner and equipment is handled safely during the machine moving process, including the use of temperature-controlled vehicles and air-ride suspension. You will have peace of mind that while under our care and control your equipment is fully insured to its value.
